DON'T MISS

From granite beaches to tropical forests, here are the experiences that make the Seychelles magical.

THE RIGHT TIME

When to visit the Seychelles?

 ☀️ April to May

The ideal off-season: calm winds, clear sea, and excellent visibility for snorkeling. Perfect for combining beaches and boat trips.

The Seychelles can be visited all year round: from December to March, the air is more humid with tropical showers, and from June to September, the trade winds make the sea rougher. I design your itinerary according to the season so you can enjoy the most beautiful beaches.

☀️ October to November

Before the rainy season: pleasant warmth, often calm sea, and beautiful light on the granite beaches.

✦ Day 1 · Praslin: arrival in Mahé, ferry to Praslin, and first sunset over the Indian Ocean.

✦ Day 2 · Vallée de Mai and Anse Lazio: the UNESCO-listed coco de mer forest, then swimming on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

✦ Day 3 · Cousin, Curieuse, and Saint-Pierre: rare birds, free-roaming giant tortoises, and catamaran snorkeling.

✦ Day 4 · La Digue: short ferry crossing to the island where you get around by bike.

✦ Day 5 · L'Union Estate and Anse Source d'Argent: Creole history, giant tortoises, and mythical granite boulders.

✦ Day 6 · The wild beaches: Grand Anse, Petite Anse, and Anse Cocos, by bike then on foot.

✦ Days 7-8 · Mahé: settling on the west coast, then the wild south, the Jardin du Roi, and Anse Intendance.

✦ Day 9 · Victoria and the heights: Creole market, Sans Souci road, and the view from Mission Lodge.

✦ Days 10-11 · Northern Mahé: Beau Vallon, Sunset Beach, and one last sunset before the return flight.

An itinerary inspired by a real Signature Travel logbook, then adapted to your desires, your pace, and your budget.

✦ Check sea conditions. On wild beaches like Anse Intendance or Anse Cocos, currents can be strong: only swim when the sea is calm.

✦ Respect nature. Do not collect shells or coral, do not touch marine animals, and choose reef-safe sunscreen.

✦ Use a bicycle on La Digue. It is the best way to discover the island: set off early to enjoy the beaches before the crowds.

✦ Consider formalities. The Travel Authorization is mandatory before departure: complete it only on the official website of the Seychellois authorities.

✦ Drive on the left, and during the day. On Mahé, roads are narrow and winding: plan your days to return before nightfall.
